Yes. FII Bank does require a minimum balance in your account, should the balance drop below the minimum requirement; there will be a low balance charge at the end of the month. For information about the account types available, please feel free to contact us.

For you to request funds out of your account, you can either send us instructions via our online service or email. However, please note that all instructions require a signatory authentication order for us to execute any type or form of instructions. It is easiest to make the request through our online service using your login credentials.

For transfers coming into an account, you would need to provide your bank abroad with our specific bank details, so as to enable them to execute the transfer, These details may be found in your online banking portal.

In the event that the incoming transfer shall exceed US$50K, then the Bank requires a satisfactory declaration of source of funds.

Yes. FII Bank does charge monthly maintenance fees on Accounts, each product is different and has different fees. Some fees are waived when minimum balances are maintained, for more information; please feel free to contact us regarding specific account types and maintenance fees.

There are a number of ways to fund your account, including:

  • Electronic transfer from your linked account - When you apply for your FII Bank account you will be asked if you want to fund your account. This account you provide as the funding account will be your linked account allowing you to make transfers to and from FII Bank electronically.
  • If you choose to link the account (or other accounts) after you apply, you can enroll the account. We will send you several small transactions (both deposit and withdrawals) for you to verify. After you verify the transactions that we sent to your other financial institution the account will be linked. Once linked, you can log into Online Banking at any time and request a transfer in or out of your external account. Please note that it may take 2 to 3 business days for the transfer to complete and we may place a hold on any incoming funds.
Yes. Our account application gives you the option of opening a personal account. As you complete the online application, we will tell you the information we need from you in order to finalized your account setup. There are a number of ways to gain access to your funds deposited at FII Bank, including:

  • Electronic transfer to your linked account - Once your account is set up to be linked to an external account at another institution by enrolling your external account within Online Banking (or when you applied), you can log into Online Banking at any time and request a transfer to your external account. Please allow a minimum of 2-3 days when enrolling your external account to verify your external account. Please also note that it may take 2 to 3 business days for the transfer to complete and we may place a hold on any incoming funds.
  • Wire - If you have a wire agreement on file with FII Bank, you are allowed to contact us and request a wire transfer for a nominal fee.
Interest is paid on a quarterly basis at the end of each quarter. Please note that for interest to be paid there must be at least $1 in the account at the point of the new statement cycle. Accounts with zero balance are considered closed by our system and any interest earned that month will be forfeited.
Yes. FII Bank does charge minimum balance and monthly fees on certain account types. Some of our accounts will waive the monthly maintenance fee when certain criteria are met, such as maintaining a certain balance on your account. However, if you fall into the bottom tier of certain account types you may not earn interest on your account. Please check with a friendly banker for your product to see the interest paid on your specific account type.
If you have forgotten your password, you may contact us to request that your password be reset. You will receive an email to your registered email with the process to reset or change your password.
